Seoul Lantern Festival is the thing you must not miss if you're now in Seoul! It takes place at Cheonggyecheon, the little river crossing through seoul. This year, the theme of the lantern art pieces are about 'Baekje', one of the ancient countries of Korean history.

Through out the beautiful stream of Cheonggyecheon you would be able to see the artistic flow of iridescent lights of historical stories.

The area in red box is where the festival takes place.
blue and red circles with arrows indicates the stairs(entrance) which you can go down through to the riverside.
(to enjoy the closer view of the lanterns, you better go down the stairs to the riverside)

just side of the word 'Cheonggye Plaza'.


Also, you can see the sign of stepping stone, just left side of Jangtong Bridge.
